The very highest quality scalpel type blades are made by Swann-Morton, the long-established Sheffield manufacturer. Made almost to surgical standards from 1.25% carbon steel.
When used in a suitable handle, they are ideal for cutting and trimming tasks in the framing workshop and for general craft use.
SM10 blades have a curved edge, helping them stay sharp longer. Packed in corrosion resistant paper inside foil pouches of 5. 20 pouches in a dispenser box, 100 blades total.
SM10 blades fit the SM No.3 handle and the Retractaway retractable handle. Also, other handles, such as Plasplugs and similar.
